The Specs…

Winter Nurture is a simple, supportive, ritual course delivered by email over 21 days through seeds on my Substack. It’s designed for those in mind who are looking for support with crafting meaningful ritual to help stay connected to creativity and community during a more challenging time of year.

This experience is ideal for those who :

  • identify as sensitive, expressive, emotive or creative

  • are curious about their inner world (thoughts, feelings and emotions)

  • want to begin (or restart) a daily creative writing practice and ritual

  • are looking for a fun and interesting yet intentional way to explore their subconscious mind

  • curious about using ritual, breath and writing to do so

It’s a great fit if you are looking for community with a touch of daily support and guidance through ritual practice coupled with independence, autonomy and space to explore on your own.

You don’t have to be a creative or writer to join, but if you are, you are welcomed to!

Dates : December 1st - December 21st, 2025

Participants will receive :

Daily support. A short email with an uncomplicated practice : a 5 minute audio recording of a *breathwork practice and a concise but creative writing prompt to play with and open your subconscious mind

Community based support through a subscriber only comments section of each post & a subscriber only chat for check-ins & ritual support

- And because music is movement, the link to a special Winter Nurture playlist on Spotify to help set the mood for the experience

*The breathwork practices : To honor the energy of this season, we will only use 3 breathwork practices over 21 days (one breathing pattern per week) as follows…

  • Day 1 - 7 : Diaphragmatic Breath (5 min)

  • Day 8 - 14 Circular Breath (5 min)

  • Day 15 - 21 : Physiological Sigh (5 min)

All 3 practices above are designed to engage your parasympathetic nervous system, a branch in your nervous system responsible for triggering “rest & digest” mode (counteracting “fight or flight” mode). They are relaxing agents that work to bring a calming effect in the brain and body. Because it’s hard to open the subconscious mind if we’re stressed, tense or tightly wound.

You will receive a fresh writing prompt for each day. Plus writing prompts for wrapping up our ritual work and processing the December 21st Winter Solstice.
