12 | How to set boundaries for protecting your energy + myths

 

In this episode, we continue the boundaries conversation! I chat about how setting boundaries is important when it comes to protecting your energy, especially mental energy and emotional energy - something that’s not valued in western culture. I talk about how it supports your self-confidence and self-trust in a way that grows personal integrity and living out your values. I also chat a bit about burnout and the shame we feel with it.

I share my short mindful process of how to set boundaries with yourself and with others which includes understanding your values and needs, identifying how to get them met and then implementation. To round out this conversation, I give you 3 common myths about boundaries I’ve discovered in my own healing journey with boundary work. I hope this episode helps you to connect to your intention and live an empowered life through setting boundaries!
