invisible rings | a poem for a Saturn Return

Invisible Rings

When the music stops after the final bowing of a haunted violin

and the air clears itself like an invisible reaper coming for coins

Who do you want to be, girl?

When the trees begin to breath and fill their cracked starving lungs

with the fresh abundant healthy reincarnation

What does your heart truly want, girl?

As the moon ravishingly extrapolates its very own muchness and bathes you with rebirth each cycle

in a light you can only feel and know as your own, a renewed sense of self

How do you want to define, girl?

Because this earth will turn and force out future days from a not so blind past

you have lived girl.

And those molecules around you that you feel and smell and see and feel more at the end of each rotation

are really just there for their own existence, girl.

Free will, girl.

Be free, girl.

Love, trust and live free, girl….

Because this is the end of the beginning of a new adventure to another Saturn return.
